Who We Are
Betty Connor, Owner/Instructor
I began my journey into CPR and First Aid training as Health & Safety Manager of the local American Red Cross. I lost my mother in 1999 due to ventricular fibrillation, a loss that could have been prevented with proper CPR training and the use of an AED. My goal through Southwest CPR & First Aid is to continue to educate the community on the importance of CPR training.
Bob Fialka, Training Coordinator/Instructor
As a former firefighter/paramedic I have extensive CPR knowledge and experience. I was also in charge of the Emergency Response Team at Lucent where I was employed for 20 years. Within that employment I was the corporate CPR trainer for the company as well as a volunteer CPR instructor for the local Red Cross. Having suffered personal loss within my family I know first hand the importance of being CPR trained. In addition to Southwest CPR & First Aid I am a small business owner specializing in Home Theater Installation and General Building Maintenance.
